OSRS Echo Boots Guide

Overview

Echo Boots are an upgraded version of Guardian Boots, enhanced by embedding an echo crystal. These unique crystals are acquired through participation in the Fortis Colosseum.

Similar to their precursor, Guardian Boots, Echo Boots grant wearers immunity from aggression by followers of Bandos within the God Wars Dungeon. This invaluable feature ensures smoother navigation through perilous areas for those aligned with other factions.

Passive Effect

Compared to their predecessors, Echo Boots boast an additional +2 prayer bonus. Additionally, they possess a distinctive passive effect: when equipped, the boots inflict 1 recoil damage upon any assailants targeting the wearer. This effect radiates in a 3x3 square around the wearer, effectively limiting recoiled targets to those within melee range.

Each echo crystal integrated into the boots imbues them with 6,000 charges for the recoil effect, with a maximum capacity of 60,000 charges. To prevent inadvertent depletion during routine training, players have the option to toggle the recoil effect on or off, conserving its use for situations where it can be most advantageous.
