The Crystal Halberd, a symbol of prestige and prowess, is a degradable two-handed weapon crafted from a mystical crystal weapon seed. To wield its might, one must complete the formidable Hard Western Provinces Diary and hone their combat skills to 70 Attack, 35 Strength, and 50 Agility. It's more than a weapon; it's a testament to your journey's zenith.
Those who desire the Crystal Halberd must venture to the heart of the elven lands to obtain this powerful weapon and below we bring you 3 ways to obtain it.
Completion of Song of the Elves

Islwyn Cadarn is the grandson of Glarial and Baxtorian Cadarn. He is the son of Eirlys Cadarn. Upon completion of Roving Elves, he will sell crystal equipment: a crystal bow for 900,000 coins, a crystal shield for 750,000 coins, or a crystal halberd for 750,000 coins to those who have completed Hard Western Provinces Diary diary. This is more expensive than having Ilfeen charge crystal weapon seeds, but can be done if players don't have or don't want to use any seeds.
Islwyn can be found travelling with Eluned between the magic trees outside Lletya and the quest start point for Roving Elves. After the quest Song of the Elves, Islwyn resides in south-east Prifddinas, in the Cadarn Clan district, near the bank.
Ilfeen is an elf who can enchant crystal weapon seeds, turning them into crystal equipment. If spoken to after completion of Roving Elves, she will give players a book called Crystal singing for beginners, which, after reading, will be placed in the bookcase of the player's Player-owned house.
Because of her understanding of crystal weapon seeds, she can enchant them into crystal bows, shields, halberds, or saws for a price.
1. Isafdar (before Song of the Elves)
- The clearing just south of the quest start point for Roving Elves.
- South of the Iorwerth Camp (just north-east of the leaf trap).
2. Prifddinas, south of the house portal (after Song of the Elves)
3. Lletya, in the south-east corner in the flax field (after reaching a certain point in Song of the Elves but before the completion of it)
4. The Underground Pass, before the final boss in Song of the Elves is defeated. While there, she will not enchant crystal weaponry.
Boasting superiority over the dragon halberd, the Crystal Halberd emerges as a melee safespot weapon, making it an excellent choice for adventurers seeking versatility in their arsenal. Its stats, when wielded with precision, overshadow its counterparts, marking it as a formidable force in the hands of a skilled warrior.
The Crystal Halberd's special attack mirrors that of the dragon halberd, consuming 30% of your special attack energy. This celestial strike not only inflicts a 10% damage boost but also unleashes a second hit against "large" monsters, providing a tactical advantage. In PvP, it can gracefully strike up to three opponents, showcasing its versatility in group combat.
While the Crystal Halberd's special attack may not match the sheer speed of some counterparts, its strategic applications shine in situations of forced downtime. Against formidable foes like the Pestilent Bloat, where a momentary retreat is inevitable, the Crystal Halberd's special attack becomes a potent tool for maximizing damage potential.
In multi-combat scenarios, the Crystal Halberd can be a catalyst for devastation, hitting up to ten enemies at once. This proves invaluable in coordinated Slayer tasks or efficient Barbarian Assault teams, where concentrated damage can turn the tide of battle.
The Crystal Halberd stands not just as a weapon but as a testament to your mastery of combat. As you wield its celestial brilliance, remember the strategic finesse it offers in both solo encounters and group skirmishes. May its glow guide you through countless victories on your path to becoming a true champion of Gielinor.
Armed with the knowledge of the Crystal Halberd, go forth, brave adventurer, and let its celestial brilliance illuminate your path to glory. As you carve your saga in the annals of OSRS, may each swing be a testament to your strength and strategic prowess. Until we meet again on the battlefield, may your victories be as radiant as the Crystal Halberd itself. Safe travels!
