Clue Hunter Outfit Guide OSRS

The Clue hunter outfit is a members-only reward received from completing the Crack the Clue! event, introduced during the summer of 2016. It is still obtainable to new players outside of the event. The costume provides stats identical to leather armour, but is additionally considered Warm Clothing.

While the outfit consists of six pieces, the helm is stored separately in the armour case of a costume room, with the rest of the pieces being stored together.

Obtaining the Outfit

Players must travel to specific locations for each piece of the outfit.

Helm of raedwald 

The helm of raedwald is obtained from completing the fifth, final clue during the Crack the Clue! event. It is part of the clue hunter outfit. This item has the same stat bonuses as an iron full helm. Unlike the other parts of the clue hunter outfit, it is not considered warm clothing for the purposes of Wintertodt.

In order to obtain the helmet, the player must dig between the four iron rocks by the cave entrance east of the Clock Tower while having a spade, a nature rune, a superantipoison with one dose remaining, and a pair of leather boots.

Clue hunter garb

The clue hunter garb is obtained from completing the second clue during the Crack the Clue! event. It is part of the clue hunter outfit. This item has the same stat bonuses as a leather body.

In order to obtain/reobtain the garb, the player must dig at the same downward right diagonal two-rocky area place just north of the Shayzien station of the Lovakengj Minecart Network, where Mogrim resides.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Clue hunter outfit set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

Dig just north-east of the Shayzien minecart station (located north of Shayzia Ruin, east of Combat Ring (Shayzien), far southeast of fairy ring code "D-J-R")

Clue hunter trousers 

Clue hunter trousers are obtained from completing the third clue during the Crack the Clue! event. It is part of the clue hunter outfit.

In order to obtain/reobtain the trousers, the player must dig near the entrance to the Pothole Dungeon north of Tai Bwo Wannai.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Clue hunter outfit set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

Clue Hunter Gloves 

Clue hunter gloves are obtained from completing the first clue during the Crack the Clue! event. It is part of the clue hunter outfit. Obtainable only once if you already have it in your inventory or bank. If you happen to accidentally destroy it, you will need to discover it again.

These items are obtained alongside the clue hunter boots.

In order to obtain/reobtain the boots and gloves, the player must dig at an oak tree south-west of the Fishing Guild and just north of East Ardougne.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Clue hunter outfit set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

Clue Hunter Boots 

Clue hunter boots are obtained from completing the first clue during the Crack the Clue! event. It is part of the clue hunter outfit. Obtainable only once if you already have it in your inventory or bank. If you happen to destroy it, you will need to discover it again.

These items are obtained alongside the clue hunter gloves.

In order to obtain/reobtain the boots and gloves, the player must dig at an oak tree south-west of the Fishing Guild and just north of East Ardougne.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Clue hunter outfit set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

Clue Hunter Cloak 

The clue hunter cloak is a cloak obtained from completing a clue during the Crack the Clue! event. It is part of the clue hunter outfit.

In order to obtain/reobtain the cloak, the player must dig between two willow trees south-east of Yanille.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Clue hunter outfit set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.
