Step by Step Guide
To obtain the Backdraft Rune in the game, you need to channel into 4 Ley Crystals scattered around the world. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
1. Gather Materials: You will need 1 material to channel per crystal, for a total of 4 materials. You can obtain these materials either from World Core Fragment found from Imp explorations, or a mage in your party can use Geomancy Scroll.
2. Find the Ley Crystals: There are four Ley Crystals located in different areas:
- Feralas: The High Wilderness, coordinates /way 57 60
- Hinterlands: North of the Altar of Zul, coordinates /way 48 59
- Azshara: Southwestern mountains near The Forlorn Ridge, coordinates /way 22 79
- Searing Gorge: coordinates /way 55 65
3. Channeling: Once you have gathered the materials and located the Ley Crystals, you need to channel into them. Use the materials on each Ley Crystal to complete the channeling process.
4. Prepare for Battle: Completing the channeling will spawn Manaburn, a level 47 arcane elemental. It is immune to Arcane damage, so be prepared for a challenging fight even at level 50. It's advisable to bring a group if possible to increase your chances of success.
5. Defeat Manaburn: Engage in combat with Manaburn and defeat it to claim the Backdraft Rune.
